A recovery effort for a New London teen, who went missing at a beach in Rhode Island was suspended Friday afternoon. Westerly authorities said a 15-year-old boy was playing catch with a football near the jetty with his family and friends at Dune’s Park Beach on Thursday night when he suddenly got swept away by the current.
