Overlanding to WW2 forts in the Maritime Alps

Our one week 2017 trip to the southern alps in the frontier area between France and Italy, the famous Piedmont area. We are on road with a Defender and a Nissan Navara. Gravel roads and dirt tracks mostly. On our road we find many relicts from WW2. They are everywhere here in the landscape: Forts, Bunkers, former gun emplacements und huge fortifications.
