Sweet Potato halwa, Simple and easy to make shakarkandi halwa recipe, which is delicious, healthy and can be quickly made. This recipe can be tried in breakfast or as a tea time snack and gives a healthy dose of food.
1 kg Sweet potato
Jaggery 150 gm
Ghee 2-3 tablespoon
Milk 250 ml
Cardamom Powder 1 spoon
Clean and cut sweet potatoes as shown
Add them to the cooker
Add 1 teaspoon
Add water sufficient for all to immersed
Closed lid and cook until 1 whistle
Take chopped jaggery in a vessel
Add half cup water
On full flame
Cook jaggery until it dissolves
Peel the boiled sweet potatoes
Take a vessel
Add sweet potatoes
Mash the sweet potatoes as shown
Add milk
Add ghee
Add jaggery syrup
Add cardamom powder
Mix it well
Dry fruits is optional
Add 1 teaspoon carom seeds
Mix it thoroughly
Sweet potato halwa is ready.
Serve Hot.
