Bent Creek Ashville, NC, Ingles Field Trail

This trail was great. Getting to it was not. Long climb with many techy parts. I almost literally ran in to a bear and its cubs on my way up. I was pedaling so hard to just end the monotonous climb I had to lock the brakes up to avoid them with about 75ft between us. the bear actually snorted and stopped the ground like a bull. We turned around and biked away for a about 10 min. As we road back up the bear was gone. We continued our climb to Ingles Field trail start. On our way down we came upon a jogger and a snake grossing the trail.
