And going way back, UFO (Gerry and id="hidden5" class="buttons"> Sylvia Anderson's first live-action show, before Space: 1999) had the main character believing he'd somehow been transported into a world where his real world was just a TV show.
And then there was the South Park "Ziplining" episode which turned the whole "hey, we're cartoons" thing upside down and shot it in live action. ....وسعت 1

Very left field ideas.
Yet somehow, both series progressed id="hidden6" class="buttons"> in their plots of the seasons and had good musical moments too.
Fun to watch.

It can be considered a suspense-thriller because it is more id="hidden15" class="buttons"> dramatic and has less action. They're not chasing any criminals. It's Raymond Reddington trapped in a beach house with a woman who may or may not be a figment of his imagination as he helps her elude her pursuers. So Cape May is definitely an out-of-genre episode. ....وسعت
