This dance was absolutely incredible, I love Nicola and Katya and I’m so glad I got to see this magical moment and enjoy seeing them dance together once more.
This is everything I wanted from these two that they didn’t get because, sadly, of the pandemic we’re in.

@ribena6074 years ago Such a shame they had to withdraw, you can see through this the potential they had to bring some truly amazing routines. I thought Nicola coped really well with the lifts- even though you could see her preparing for them, it can't be easy for a female to lift another female and she controlled them really well. So good to be able to see them have one last dance at least! ... 8

@mizzlaura3 years ago Wow, I'm so glad they chose this style of dance for their final dance, I think Strictly was being too safe with these two not wanting them to do sexy or sensual routines and they showed it can be done in a classy and beautiful way, the strictly bosses need to learn to trust their pros that they're not gonna sully something they've wanted to do on the show for years, it's just a shame their time was cut short because of Katya getting sick ... 4

@EmoBearRights3 years ago I've included this video as part of a playlist called Eurovision at Strictly where I have linked taken the best performing country at that year's Eurovision Song Contest that I can link to the background of either a pro or contestant as the pros tend to come from various European countries. The 2020 contest which would have been in Rotterdam of course didn't take place but the entry for Russia Uno by Little Big is still getting a massive amount of views on their channel and would have almost certainly have achieved a top ten position if it had got to make it to Rotterdam. It also seems a symmetry with the contest as this dance never got to compete in Strictly because the Russian born pro Katya tested positive for Covid while they were in training to do it too. ...
