Apple Crumble Oats Ingredients: 250ml unsweetened almond milk (or use milk of your choice) 70g oats (use gluten free if preferred) 1 medium-sized sweet apple, chopped Half a tsp ground cinnamon Half a tsp mixed spice or ground nutmeg 20g vanilla flavour whey or rice protein powder (optional) To serve: A few apple slices 5g pecans Serves 1 Per serving: 449 calories 13g fat 57g carbs 26g protein Method: Place the oats, apple and milk in a saucepan over a medium heat. Stir well and cook for 4 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add more milk during cooking time, if required. Remove the saucepan from the heat and allow to stand for 5 minutes. Add the dried spices and stir well. Add the protein powder (if using) and stir rapidly, until smooth. Serve topped with apple and nuts. Consume immediately. Enjoy x
