    @yland60037 months ago It looks soo good!! I make wood perches for my pet birds so I’m always looking for pet safe wood stains!
    I don’t know how you sanded the veneer, but I have a tip that other people don’t talk about in their restoration videos.
    Veneer is super thin, so it’s better to start sanding at a medium-high grit. 100 grit on a sander could eat half the veneer in couple passes. So for longevity, start with a finer grit that’s just barely good enough.
    I’m sure pieces with “original veneer” make more money.
